Trilithic would like to introduce Paula Bottoms, the newest member of the Emergency Alert Systems team. Having worked in the Microwave/RF division at Trilithic for four years, Paula was recently promoted to the position of EAS Sales Administrator.
Paula’s career in electronics began with a supplier of microwave components for commercial and military applications. Having honed her skills there, Paula seized the opportunity to come on board with Trilithic and quickly moved into an Administrative Sales position in support of Trilithic’s Microwave/RF group, then into the Emergency Alert Systems group. In a typical day, Paula’s responsibilities include quoting EAS hardware and software; entering orders and initiating RMAs; following up on quotations; communicating with customers regarding orders and quotations; and checking and maintaining stock levels.
In Paula’s many roles at Trilithic, her greatest challenge comes in balancing manufacturing lead times against immediate customer needs. "The most rewarding part of my job," says Paula, "is the opportunity to work directly with the customer and find solutions to ensure they have complete EAS coverage."
"In the few months since Paula has joined the EAS team, her customer-centric philosophy has proven to be an asset to EAS users," says Mark Burton, Vice President of Emergency Alert Systems. "Her proactive approach to the demands of the EAS market is in the best interest of our customers, and will help Trilithic continue to be the EAS industry leader."
